Hazel Smith BA (Hons) SRCh DPodM MChS Hazel qualified in chiropody (podiatry) at the Chelsea School of Chiropody, London in 1979 and has since worked in both private and NHS (in particular, the care of diabetics and others with high-risk medical conditions). She holds a local anaesthetic certificate and has experience in partial and total avulsion (removal) of in-growing toenails. A generalist, Hazel is able to treat a range of foot conditions including the care of diabetic feet, in-growing toenails, general corns and callouses, verruccae, nail and skin infections of the feet etc. She is state registered with the Health Professions Council and is a member of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists.
