How can Yoga help me?
Because yoga works on all of the body’s systems, it is a complete practice of self care and offers you the opportunity to develop, maintain or improve what you need at any given time.

What happens in a Yoga class?
Each one hour class will mobilise and prepare your body for yoga asana (poses) then take you through a gentle structured physical program to bring balance to the entire body with the focus on good body alignment, stability and ease.  Classes end with breath work and relaxation to bring about a feeling of calmness and allow for rest and integration of practice.

What does it involve?
Yoga involves working slowly and gently through a set of poses coupled with breath awareness and followed by a restful relaxation.  Each person works individually from their mat in a small group at a level to suit their current needs.

Who runs the classes?
Catherine Thomas. Catherine qualified with the British Wheel of Yoga with additional training in teaching children yoga and health and fitness.    She practices martial arts and has an interest in fitness and family health and has 3 children of her own.  Catherine has a positive, encouraging, fun and gentle approach and believes yoga has something to offer everyone. 

Classes are run in a series of 6 with a maximum of 6 people ensuring personal attention. This enables  you to learn the practice easily and thoroughly so gaining the maximum benefits .
